  O.D. Rib Style "E"
Much variation can be found in this style of O.D. rib insofar as proportions and diameters. What sets this style apart from the others is:
  • the sharp edge of the O.D. rib
  • the large difference in barrel diameters above and below the O.D. rib.

    These hydrants are also divided into multiple sections based on bonnet style and size.

  • This first section has hydrants with the old style 9" O.D. bonnet version (see side view) that has patent dates cast onto the rim as shown in this top view.
