Pont-à-Mousson
Saint-Gobain PAM - Nancy, France

Société Anonyme des Hauts-Fourneaux et Fonderies de Pont-à-Mousson, logo from 1932
The company was established in the late 1800's at Lorraine, France, as the Société Anonyme des Hauts-Fourneaux et Fonderies de Pont-à-Mousson (the Pont-à-Mousson Blast Furnace and Foundry Company). In a catalog from 1932, the product line included valves, public hydrants (borne fontaine) and both underground and post style fire hydrants. In 1970, Pont-à-Mousson, as the company was known until the year 2000, was merged, becoming the pipe branch of materials giant Saint-Gobain. Saint-Gobain PAM today manufactures many ductile iron products, including pipes, valves, and fire hydrants.
