The hydrant pictured carries the Keystone Iron Works patent date of March 29, 1910. Note the streetwasher plug atop the bonnet. This hydrant differs from the known Keystone Iron Works model wet barrel hydrant.




This is the drawing from a 1910 U.S. Patent assigned to the Keystone Iron Works of Los Angeles. It is unknown at this time the relationship between the company that made the New York Hydrant and Keystone Iron Works
