James Jones Co. - El Monte, CA
James Jones Company was founded in the early 1890's in El Monte, California, where they produced valves, mausoleum doors, casket handles,and many other pieces made of bronze. In 1926, they produced the first wet barrel fire hydrant made of bronze. James Jones has continued manufacturing bronze wet barrel fire hydrants ever since. On September 4, 1996, James Jones Company was acquired by Tyco Corporation and became a part of the Mueller Company.
